Who we are
This website belongs to Synovika Technologies, a software company in Nigeria. When this notice says “we” or “us”, it means Synovika Technologies. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hero@synovika.com.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us. If you email us, call us, message us on WhatsApp or use the form on our contact page, we receive what you send: usually your name, your contact details, and what you tell us about your business. We use it to reply, to understand what you need, and, if we work together, to run the project. Our lawful basis is taking the steps you asked us to take, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
The contact form. The form on our contact page doesn’t send anything to this website. It writes your message for you and opens it in your own email app or in WhatsApp, so you can check it before you send it. Nothing you type is stored on this website.
Waitlists. If you ask to join a product waitlist, we keep your contact details so we can tell you when that product is ready. You can ask to leave the waitlist at any time.
When you browse. This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See our cookie notice for the one setting this site can store in your browser.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal data. We share it only with the services we need to run our business, such as our email provider, WhatsApp, and our hosting provider, and only as far as they need it to do their job. Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and follow up. If we work together, we keep project records for as long as the law or the contract requires. Then we delete them.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete your data, or stop using it;
- move your data to someone else, where that applies;
- withdraw any consent you’ve given.
To do any of these, email hero@synovika.com. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Keeping it safe
This site is served only over HTTPS, and we take reasonable steps to keep the personal data we hold safe, including limiting who can see it.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update it here.
