Questions and answers
Straight answers to the questions people ask us most, about working with us, our services and our products.
Working with us
Read more about working with usHow much does a project cost?
It depends on what you need, so we don't guess. After a first call we send a written quote, broken into stages, before any work starts.
How long does a project take?
That depends on its size too. With the quote you get a timeline, stage by stage, and we tell you early if anything changes it.
Will you fix software someone else built?
Yes. We start by reading the code and telling you what we find, then we agree what to fix first.
What happens after launch?
We can keep looking after it, with updates, monitoring and fixes, and a short note each month on what we did. It's your choice.
Do you only work with businesses in Nigeria?
No. We work with clients across Nigeria and worldwide.

Selvion
Read more about selvionWhat is fleet management software?
Software that shows you where your vehicles are and how they're being used, from a tracker fitted in each one. Good fleet software also tells you when something needs attention and keeps a record of every trip, so you run the fleet from facts rather than phone calls.
How does vehicle tracking work?
A small GPS tracker in the vehicle works out its position from satellite signals and sends it over the mobile network. The tracking software puts that position on a map, checks it against the rules you've set, such as zones around your depots, and alerts you when one is broken.
What's the difference between a car tracker and a fleet management platform?
A car tracker tells you where one vehicle is. A fleet management platform brings every vehicle into one place, with alerts, trip reports and the history you need to run the fleet day to day.

Estate Entrance Security System
Read more about estate entrance security systemWhat is an estate visitor management system?
Software that tells the gate who is expected. Residents register their visitors in advance, usually with a code, and guards check each visitor against it instead of phoning the house. Every entry is recorded, so the estate keeps a log it can rely on.
How do visitor access codes work?
A resident creates a short code for a visitor and sends it by message. At the gate, the visitor gives the code and the guard checks it. If it's valid for that house and that time, the visitor goes in, and the entry is logged.
Is a visitor code system better than a gate logbook?
For most estates, yes: it's quicker at the gate, residents don't have to answer calls, and the record can be searched. It does need a plan for power cuts and network outages, which a paper logbook doesn't.
Websites with an Admin Panel
Read more about websites with an admin panelWhat is a website admin panel?
The private part of your website where your team changes the content, such as text, prices, pages and photos, without touching any code.
How much does a business website cost in Nigeria?
It depends on how many pages you need, whether the design is custom, what the site must do (such as bookings or payments) and who looks after it afterwards. Running costs matter as much as the build: the domain, hosting, and paying someone for every small change. An admin panel cuts that last cost, because your team makes everyday changes itself. Ask for a written quote that lists every cost for the first year.
Can I buy a ready-made website?
Yes. You can use a template, a website builder, or have a site built for you, and each suits a different kind of business. Websites with an Admin Panel is our product for businesses that want a site built for them that they can run themselves. It's in development, and you can join the waitlist.
Software development
Read more about software developmentHow much does custom software cost in Nigeria?
It depends on what the software must do, how many kinds of users it has, what it connects to and how soon you need it. The honest way to price it is in stages, once the requirements are written down. Our guide explains what drives the price.
How do I choose a software development company in Nigeria?
Ask how they work, who owns the code, how they test, what happens after launch and how they price changes. Our guide lists twelve questions worth asking any developer before you sign.

Requirements engineering
Read more about requirements engineeringWhat is requirements engineering?
The work of finding out what a piece of software must do, writing it down clearly and getting everyone to agree before it's built. It covers who will use it, what they need to do, the rules it must follow and how well it must work.
What is a software requirements specification (SRS)?
A document that describes what a system must do and how well it must do it, in enough detail that a developer can build it and you can check the finished software against it.
